We purchased and moved into The Markle House on March 12, 2020. This was just before the pandemic truly descended on the Wabash Valley, closing business and schools, and sending all to “shelter in place” for several weeks. With these barriers, the immediate needs of the home (knob-and-tube wiring!!!), and the fact that we both work in public education full time, have kids at home and in college, limits of time and money… it has been a very slow start to restoring and preserving the home and sharing our journey.
