In preparation for our daughter’s high school graduation open house, we thought a good project would be to give the front porch a little facelift. White houses are tough to keep looking great. Eventually, no amount of cleaning will do the trick and a new coat of paint is in order. Some paint flaking and wear was starting to expose the fragile brick it was meant to protect. Here are some before and after pics of this relatively simple project (tell that to my aching muscles!) Still some things to do, of course, but so much better in just a few days!
