We have a lot of hobbies. If you’ve read much of our blog you know that antique collecting is pretty high on the list and DIY house projects are another, but that’s just the start. I (Rachel) started making jewelry many years ago as a fundraiser for our family’s summer mission work in Poland (the country… not the town in Indiana.) We hope to get back to doing that again sometime, but for now the proceeds from the sale of my jewelry designs will help us pay for work that needs to be done on The Markle House. New to the Etsy store are Ben’s hand-turned wood bowls. He does lots of other amazing woodworking too, so I hope that’s just the start. By the way, Ben came up with “Redhead Lane” one day as we were sitting on the back porch admiring the incredible variety of woodpeckers that visit our feeders… including the beautiful Redheaded variety. Also, three of the four of us are redheads. 😉
