When I talk to people about our endeavor, they often wonder about the costs involved in keeping up such a place. “Aren’t there grants to help you preserve a historic landmark?”, they often ask. Well… we haven’t found any yet! I participated recently in an informational webinar only to find out that you were only qualified to apply if the property was going to be used for profit, such as a bed-and-breakfast or such. Residential properties did not qualify.
